One of the main points of the Peña Nieto political actions were the 11 Structural reforms in strategic economic sector such as telecommunications, energy, financial labor, treasury and others more. According with the government experts, the energy reform was the most important and necessary for Mexico. The opposition and the population claim against this idea, not just because of the lack of clarity in the reform design, but also because this significate a breakup of the petroleum fight of 1938.
The public opinion do not give a big impact in the government actions (a characteristic in this presidential period) and the reform was accepted in all political stages. Unfortunately, the corruption and the lack of a real strategic, provoked that the expected welfare get stock.
